Studio 81 hosts Iowa's ONLY 3-wall cyclorama wall measuring 51', along with multiple sets, a luxurious Green Room, and a Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos setup for screenings, virtual production, workshops, and private events.

Studio 81 boasts 1,500sqft of open studio space that hosts a cyclorama wall, multiple sets that can double as lounge seating, a Dolby Vision projector/Dolby Atmos sound system for screenings/watch parties/presentations, and is a blank canvas for any project or event you have.
Attached is our 750sqft space known as "The Green Room". While The Green Room can be used as a traditional green room for a shoot you have, it can also double as a set, private screening room, luxury day office, or staging/VIP room for your special event.

OUR MISSION
Upon relocating to Cedar Rapids, our founder identified a significant gap in the local market: the
absence of a rentable studio/soundstage in Eastern Iowa. This deficiency often forced talented video professionals to conduct corporate and commercial shoots outside the state, resulting in lost revenue and job opportunities for Iowa.
Driven by this realization, our mission is twofold. First, we aim to retain these productions within Iowa, fostering local talent and business. Second, we aspire to position our facilities as a premier destination for out-of-state productions, thereby enhancing tax revenues, boosting tourism, and supporting our vibrant local creative community. Our goal is clear: to prevent the outflow of creative talent to major cities such as Chicago, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, and to cultivate a thriving creative hub right here in Iowa.
